My calendar alert tone is stuck on an old one I no longer want to hear. I’ve got an iPhone 16 Pro.
The Notification setting shows: Pulse but the phone plays: Sherwood Forest.
I think I’ve tried every support suggestion listed in this forum but the alert just won’t changed, totally stuck, it’s insane.
Any ideas out there? Any help Apple?

Thanks, I’ve gone to the settings and changed the tone to other things and created test events
and the only alert sound that ever plays is Sherwood Forest.
I just tried your suggestion of using Pulse, set up a new event, Sherwood Forest played,
change the tone to Cheers, created a new entry, and Sherwood Forest plays, change back to Pulse, new entry and yup Sherwood Forest plays.
I have all notifications turned off on my iPad so the calendar on the phone is not syncing to another device.
Shouldn’t there be a way for Apple fix this bug?
If you go to Settings/Notifications/Calendar and choose Pulse, does it sound correctly?
Next, chose some other sound, then switch back to Pulse. That may fix it.
