Black screen after using boot camp assistant for windows 10

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

I have wiped my drive and created a fresh install of macOS. I downloaded the latest Windows 10 iso and used boot camp assistant to install. My Mac automatically restarted but after the Apple logo, the screen turned off (no backlight). Restarting using the power button while holding alt to boot from the windows partition has the same result.

M2 MacBook Air wakes up with blank screen Sometimes, not always, my M2 MacBook Air (Sonoma 14.0) wakes up with a blank screen. Nothing I can do brings it back to life, short of rebooting. In these situations, sometimes (but not always) I can get the external display to work, while the laptop screen remains blank. I.e. the system is "thinking" normally, just not displaying on its own screen. The system diagnostic only tells me that my external trackpad is broken, which I knew. These Apple-silicon machines have no SMC to "reset." I see that others have had this problem, but several similar questions have received no response over several months. Is rebooting 3x daily the new normal? Has MacOS officially become Windows? More likely, there's a magic keystroke sequence - I'd appreciate your insight or further debugging suggestions.
