10.15.7 music app has no home sharing option - can I remove it a re-install itunes so it works again?

music app on my 10.15.7 macbook pro can not see the shared library I have on another macbook pro that is running 10.13. In fact there is no home sharing library option in the music app even though I have set the correct sharing settings on the system preferences.

If I am unable to see my home library from 10.15.7 can I re-install itunes and get rid of the useless music app?
