Time Machine backup problem

Hello,

Last year I bought an SSD because I was afraid to upgrade my system to Monterey, in case it would present problems, so I booted with the SSD drive.

Now I no longer use it, and have upgraded to Monterey, but since then, when I back up with Time Machine, it's backing up two volumes (?)

See attached screenshot. Does anyone have a fix?

Thanks in advance!

Best,

Christine

It's nearly certain TM is working properly and there is nothing to fix.

What you're seeing in that Finder representation of the TM backup drive is a list of restorable backups of volumes mounted at the time they were backed up. It doesn't mean it is backing up drives that are not mounted.

There is no point in using the Finder to inspect Time Machine backup drives. The information it shows won't make any sense.
