Syncing updated Reminders with Outlook

For a few years, the documentation on the updated Reminders app said that syncing using iCloud for Windows was not supported. I can't find anything that references that any more. If I update Reminders, will it still sync with Outlook through iCloud for Windows or will I only be able to get reminders on my PC through the iCloud web?
