When i looked this Morning, most of my desktop files are missing along with my desktop picture. I rebooted and zapped pram. No Change. Suggestions please. I need to recreate from the server side the list of files. Thanks.

Check your iCloud Drive Desktop & Documents settings. If you use Parallels, its settings might also intervene. A detour to safe-boot might also be helpful.

Thanks, I bit the bullet, removed iCloud desktop and readded to force the pull. It worked.
Desktop Database rebuild? OS 13.6.9. Missing 98% of all desktop files on desktop.
