I'm in the process of buying an Apple second hand studio display (2023). I'd like to know if there are any apps or sw that can detect flaws, burned pixels or any other problem the monitor might have. Thanks.
Best to use a Mac to test. You can check various resolutions. You can run a color test using one the programs on YouTube to check for any color variations and pixel integrity. You can attach a drive to each open port and verify readability. Check camera using Photo Booth and sound using a demo from YouTube.

This is fine for image testing but still be sure to check the other mechanicals as I stated.
