Recovering messages from iCloud
I have deleted messages and pictures from my actual phone. In my settings, it shows that I still have messages stored in iCloud? How do I access and recover those

You might not be able to.
Just went through this and spent almost a hour on the phone with Apple. I have a lot of messages on iCloud I can not access, regardless of device and they were not in iCloud Recovery. We tried everything. All I can do now is log all my devices out of iCloud and stop using iCloud with Messages for 30 days and hopefully what is locked on iCloud will be deleted. No holding my breath though. I think they have a bug in either iCloud or in Messages that are preventing the messages from showing up.
