Dexcom G7 app pairing issue with iPhone after iOS 18 update

I have deleted the Dexcom seven app and reloaded it. I’ve checked to make sure Bluetooth is turned on. I have changed sensors twice and that has not helped. Now I’m wondering if the Dexcom G7 app is compatible with iOS 18

The basic resolution which worked for me was to install the DexcomOne+ which allowed me to pair my G7 Sensor to my iphone XR. I am getting sugar readings now. I have not been able to pair G7 sensors since my phone upgraded to iOS 18.1.1. I have: reset network and security on my phone. This did not work. removed all bluetooth devices . This did not work. made sure the phone is within 10 meters. This did not work. removed all other apps which use bluetooth. This did not work. uninstalled and reinstalled G7 App. This did not work. rebooted iphone. This has not worked. restored and upgraded iphone to 18.2.2. I cannot use earlier versions of iOS as Apple is now forcing users to upgrade to iOS 18.2.2. This means the signed apps need to be resigned and tested via Dexcom. installed DexcomOne+. This has paired with the sensor. The installation of DexcomOne+ has worked for me on iPhone XR (18.2.2). I am not sure if the fix was with the latest version off the app or the basic reinstallation and accepting security location questions. If using DexcomOne+ with G7 sensor, please perform a blood test immediately and keep an eye on your sugars for the next couple of hours. In addition, please contacted Dexcom technical support who can log a bug fix with their developers. This has been exceptionally frustrating because of Apple improving security issues on their OS. This has meant I was not able to use my CGM and monitor my sugars for over two weeks. thanks

Bluetooth not working after IOS 18.2 update Updated Iphone 11 last night with apple update 18.2. Bluetooth is not pairing with my phone, fitbit, car etc.

iPhone 11 will not pair with my iPad Any ideas on how to pair my iPad with my iPhone?They both show the other device but they won’t pair with each other, all of a sudden. I use the Bluetooth on iPad for Apple fitness app videos and Apple Watch fitness stats. iOS 17 uploaded recently.

I called today and it’s because the G7 doesn’t support anything higher then ios 17.5

I see many complaints in recent reviews about problems with the Dexcom app over the last few days, so you're not alone. The responses from Dexcom to those reviews are either to contact their technical support department or that they will pass the feedback along. So it seems clear that they have work to do on their app.

Since Apple doesn't own the Dexcom app, which likely hasn't been updated for iOS 18, you'll need to contact them for help.

My G7 works fine with IOS 17.7 and iwatch 10.6.1

I’ll wait a while for IOS 18
