Macbook M1 2020 disconnects external SSD often
My Macbook M1 2020 (which is less than 3 years old right now) systematically disconnects an external SSD. Before it was happening not so often (last year+, I think), but now it happens just constantly, and really makes question if I should continue using Apple products. See the attached screenshot (it is in German, but it says about "Not properly ejected" volumes, "T7-APFS" in this case).
I thought before that it is somehow related to the OWC Thunderbolt dock that I use. However, I switched in last several weeks to directly connecting my SSD to the second USB-C port of my Macbook.
What is the most annoying, there are not even any workload happening on this SSD most of the time - I use, say, simply browser, and then see "Not properly ejected messages".
I use Ventura 14.7 last hour, and the SSD was disconnected 4 times already; I was using 14.5 before, with the same result. But it is definitely not related to Ventura itself, as I saw this behavior earlier as well.
Please, do not reply with something like "Uncheck 'Put disks to sleep'", I did this a thousand years ago. Besides, this happens irrespective, whether computer sleeps or I sit in front of it and use it. I have also tried the idea of power off and restarting in Safe Mode. It did nothing to help.
