Sharing A Contact With Another Person

I just realized that I happen to be sharing the same contact with another person in my family (We have different Apple IDs, but we are both under the same name), & I would like to know how to make it so I am separate. Doing this also makes it so I can’t see my own phone number, but I know It’s not the same as theirs.
