iPhone mirroring not available in Estonia after updating my MacBook Pro

Updated my MacBook Pro and wanted to try iPhone mirroring, but it says, "not available in your country or region." I live in Estonia. Why does Apple even do stuff like that? Why can't everybody enjoy new updates fully?

Yes, strange behavior from the corporation: we did this, we did that, but only users in the USA can use it. It's frustrating. At least remove those icons from our view so they don't keep catching our eye.

It isn’t free, what are you talking about?!! Do educators and meducal staff work for free or for pay? God… some people …

and besides - we’re talking about regulation here and overstepping, regulation-happy environment tgat EU has become with the Commission’s overeach in some areas.

Do you know what whe reason the Commission is giving for the ban of sime functions? If you did the concersation would have sibstance. But you relied on ideological simplifications of the solidarity elements of EU societies that have nothing to do with this topic.

I have to say that happening in Greece too, the thing is that we give our money on the same products, and Apple company have the same issues, the same problem, to the all costumers. The question is Android phones and windows laptop have the same issues with the EU rules?

THIS IS ''unacceptable''.

Please fix it immediately!!!!

looking forward for the next ios update to solve this problem, because seriously it's a big big big problem to APPLE PRODUCTS in 2025!!!

Ok I was wrong. I have a an US Apple ID as my main ID as I reside now in the EU I have made a local ID for media. Now I signed out the EU ID for media and purchase (not your main Apple ID) in my iPhone and signed in my US ID, the same as in my Mac, now it works :).

On the other hand you can use AppleWatch blood oximeter with devices sold outside USA :-/

"The ability to measure blood oxygen is no longer available on Apple Watch units sold by Apple in the United States on or after January 18, 2024."

The reason as I am informed actually is because Apple has some issues with Eu GPDR and Privacy so in Croatia we have exact same problem.

As far as I know only workaround is to create US apple account to use these new features of macOS but there is posiblle another catch related to paying methods ‘cause some are not accepted in US.

I hope this will be helpfull to somome in Europe.
