Sequoia causing iMac to crash instead of sleeping and will not turn back on

Hello,

My iMac, whenever it sleeps, will not wake up. This happened since Sequoia, every time. In order to turn my Mac back on, I have to unplug it for a few seconds then plug back in and turn on, get crash report. Interim solution has been to just keep the Mac off when not using it like it's 1990. Next, I will just bootcamp with Windows and continue without Sequoia, as I have seen several people with same issue and no solutions provided to them. Any advice in the meantime? Please and thank you.
