I am trying to connect my old GR DVL157 JVC camera to my iMac 14.6.1, using the AV connector on my camera, connecting into the red yellow and white cable then into a usb port.. does anyone have any experience of doing this? iMovie doesn't see my camera.. help! many thanks Jacquie

It won't see your camera, the Mac does not have any support for this. Your NTSC to USB adapter should have come with software. If not, you might need to go to El Gato to get hardware and software known to work with the Mac.
Thank you so much… the connectors did come with a mini disk but unfortunately I don’t have the hardware to use it… I will check out el gato.. appreciate your reply
