iOS 18 updates removed my plant finder from my iphone 13 pro
I updated my phone for the latest updates and found my plant finder icon missing. I need it back!

How did you turn it on? In my Siri search settings, everything is switched on. My partner’s phone is newer, and he can’t find it either.
I am on IOS 16.7.1 on iPhone 12
Is it because we now work south of equator that it was disabled?

yes i meant the built in plant identifier which disappeared with the updates. Turned it on now👍
I have 3 plant finders after updating, so it’s likely the update has nothing to do with yours disappearing. Have you checked the App Library or the App Store?
But, as the iPhone camera app has had a built in plant identifier for the past few versions, I don’t use any of the 3rd party apps anymore.
If you meant the in-built 'Visual Look Up' that Apple has, you need to go to Settings > Search > 'Show Related Content'.
Make sure that's enabled. That should re-enable Visual Look Up on your device.
I hope that helps!
Hi again, I saw that suggestion but in my Settings, nothing comes up when searching for ‘related content’.
I mean I am just south of equator, in Angola, and suspect they disabled it there because my partner’s phone has the same problem.
It worked! Many thanks!
its not from Siri - search but from settings - search - show related content - turn on. I had issues when updated it to iOS 18. I am from the south of equator as well! Hii from Australia!!😀
