I am experiencing the same thing! Is there a setting or some other step I need to take to allow the "send later" in iMessages app functionality?
Careful. Criticizing Apple they remove your comment!
they wont actually do anything about making it work. Except suggest this forum!
getting very fed up with Apple.
As of 16 Nov 24, still doesn’t work on my IPhone 16, IOS 18 18.1
This one didn’t work for me, unfortunately
I've turned off all focus settings still no send later option except for the one Iphone contact I have thats always had the options since this update just all my other contacts don't have the option so far this only works between iphone and iphone it will not work with iPhone to Android or an older flip phone. The only thing I've not tried is factory reseting the device I'm on iPhone 14 with ios 18.
you are a truly awesome person hadn't thought to contact support directly. and you are 100% that we are comprehending that "Any Device" means just that any device that has cell or texting services is what is supposed to be supported just like it is on android. on android you can schedule messages no issues doesn't matter if they're on a nokia phone from the early 2000s or if they're on a iphone just works. after this ordeal because i only have one or two friends with iphone i am switching back to androids.
Tried all options provided in this forum. The fact that it doesn’t work when texting non iPhone users shows the low level of developer intelligence.
This is my first iPhone, BIG MISTAKE. I HATE it. Will not buy another one.
My Samsung S8 had this ability in 2018 regardless of the recipients phone make and model.
If you criticize Apple. They just remove your comments.
read this because it is going to disappear!
They will not fix the problem but will brag they that they provided “Delayed messaging “ even when most of us cannot use it!
I keep telling myself I want to come back to apple, as I'm the only one in the household who now uses a device non apple (s23ultra), but I still use apple accounts from my phone for storing my media and the music app. But I really really really am having a hard time even considering giving up features like delayed messaging. And even customization of my screens and apps, grid, and widgets.
I came to Samsung for the camera. I'm staying for literally so much more.
This absolutely worked. I thought ov everything else. Checked keyboards. Tried to send to other iPhone users. It’s the “focus” setting👏🏽 Thank you!!!
I’m trying to set up a delayed text to another iPhone user but I don’t see the option. Do you know how to enable?
It only works on other iPhones and it’s not even sending until you go back and send the message manually. What a joke
“So what’s the answer?”
Wait and see if the EU sues Apple… ?
Stop texting android users… ?
Live with it as Apple intended.
Typical Apple “send later” ONLY works on Apple devices. Ridiculous android has had this since at least 2010. What does timing a message have to do with OS. Fix it Apple!
I can no longer send delayed Messages. Was working after last update and even earlier today. Now no choice to delay send. Please advise
Both Apple devices have to be running the latest IOS for it to work. I can’t see it for a person that I know has an Iphone6s with the latest available iOS for “that” phone and it doesn’t show up.
