Stickers disappearing seconds after being added on iPhone Messages app

I bought a new Apple 16 yesterday and set it up. Stickers that i had previously were all gone which is not a big deal but when i go to add stickers it is created and either adds to the drawer for 1 second then disappears or is created and you cannot see it in the drawer at all. I have tried shutting down the app and re-opening, restarting phone, nothing seems to be working. i even tried creating a sticker from a photo i had previously and successfully set up on my old iPhone 12 but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated!! Getting super frustrated.
