Apple watch series 7 issues after update to 11

I updated to 11 on my Series 7 Apple Watch and now the top right and bottom right complications are not reacting to my touch. I restarted it and it still does not work. The rest of the watch seems fine. Help!

FYI, I am using the Gradient watch face.

I've also been using the Gradient watch face. After updating to watchOS 11, some complications aren't working from that face, although they work from others.

Examples of failing apps: Activity, Heart Rate, Timer.

So this is pretty basic stuff that ought to be working.

Update: reset/restore from backup complete, issue persists. I've tested a few apps.

  • No crown dial response in Weather or Sleep.
  • OK crown dial response on the main dial screen, App View, Smart Stack, Face editor, Medications.

I also set up Gradient face per /Eakrebs22, and am also seeing two non-responsive complications, but mine are lower left (Timer) and lower right (Weather).

Mine worked perfectly until the update, now the crown dial won't work inside apps. One effect of this is it's impossible to change the Sleep/Wake Up time from the watch. Note that the crown dial hasn't stopped working completely, only where it would be most useful.

I'm in the process of a full reset and will let you know how it goes. I'll also look for the problem you were having, which I hadn't experienced.

I too updated my series 7 Apple Nike Watch to watchos 11 and now it won't startup. Tried to hard reset few times but it still won't startup. Only the Apple logo keeps on flashing when I press the crown button. I send it to the authorized Apple Store and they said that the watch is unrepairable and that I need to purchase a new watch. I was expecting this watch to last at least 4-5 years. But now I have doubts on purchasing a new one.
