Geolocation not working after the macOS sequoia update

After I updated to MacOS Sequoia update, nowhere in the system(websites, apps, system apps, maps, location of the laptop in locator) i could get geolocation to work. In the settings all those apps are allowed access to geolocation, and it is enabled.

Any news on this?

brand new MBP M4 Pro here, I have exactly the same issue.

Location services is turned on but won't work. it DOES however work on google maps only on chrome - but not on Safari.

won't work on Maps (native app), and neither with Siri.

seems to work fine in Find My.

Hello!

I recently purchased a 2024 MacBook Air M3, but I have already wanted to return it to the seller due to an issue with the geo-location. I have tried all possible solutions, except for updating the firmware on the device, and I am sure it is probably a factory defect. However, after reading your discussion, I have changed my mind.

I believe that our MacBook may not be a genuine Mac, which is why we are experiencing such a problem.
