my iphone 15 doesnt want to update to ios 18

Having the same issue on a brand new iPhone 15. Can’t even set it up as IOS18 update not working! So much for amazing tech!

This is a user to user forum, not a chat room. You have to be patient for someone to answer.

Can you post a screenshot of the whole screen, it could reveal why you aren't able to update.

Make sure you:

• Are using a WiFi connection (not a hotspot).

• You have an active cell signal (You need both WiFi and cellular service to perform the upgrade).

• Are not using a VPN connection.

• Have your battery charged at least 50%. Better yet, keep it plugged in during the update.

• Do not have power save mode turned on.

• Do not have a beta version installed.

• You have at least 10 gigs of storage available.

Your screenshot indicates you are running on battery power and less than 40% charge. Plug it in and let it charge to over 50%. Leave it plugged in and try updating again.

Instead of blaming the tech, how about troubleshooting why it's not updating. Did you read my instructions as to what needs to be done to upgrade?
