Macbook crashes and starts with 11%

Hello everyone,

since 2-3 weeks my 2021 macbook pro crashes once a day and when i start it again it always got 11% battery.

I don't get any crash report.

Is my batterie broken? Or why does this happen?

Thank you

In Disk Utility>View, select Show all Devices, highlight the top left entry.

Run Disk First Aid on all items in the left panel, from top down.

You can use Drive DX to possibly get a better view of Drive health…

We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Using EtreCheck - Apple Community

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info. Give it Full Disk Access.

Give etrecheck Full Disk Access before running.

Thanks for Old Toad’s etrecheck instructions…

Just to add to the great work by @BDAqua

The Crashing maybe impart due to Lack of Empty Space

The relationship between 11% battery power and crashing maybe just a fluke

Q- Runtime: 6:05

Q - Performance: Below Average

Q - Low performance - EtreCheck report took an unusually long time to run.

A - Unusually Long Run time for a MacBookPro 14 inch with a M1 Pro ( M1) with CPU 8 core

A - This could be attributed to the computer is running out of Disk Space

Q - disk0 - APPLE SSD AP0512R 500.28 GB (Solid State - TRIM: Yes)

Size: 494.38 GB

      Free: 45.85 GB

      Available: 57.54 GB

A - This machine is getting close to “ Running Out to Disk Space “  warning that may eventually be presented via  Pop Up for the Operating System

A - It is generally a good computer practice to alway keep at least 20% to 25% of the Total Drive Capacity’s as Empty Space. Allowing the computer to drop below these guidelines may eventually, cause unintended consequences.

Q - Profiles installed and configured by the Owner ( you ) or Profiles installed and imposed by your Employer ?

Configuration profiles found - This computer may have configuration profiles installed.

Ahh, I see, Delete these files & restart...

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.antares.antares-central-tray.plist

~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.eucontrol.autolaunch.plist

~/Library/LaunchAgents/app.cradle.CradleLicenseUpdater.plist

~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.sonarworks.soundid.reference.systemwide.plist

~ tilde indicates your home folder

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Method 1:

1 From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.

2 In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.

Or…

Use the Command-Shift-period

Macbook crashes and starts with 11%
