Hi I just wanted to know, if the green screen issue that came up on my iPhone 11 Pro Max after updating to the iOS17 can be fixed ? Is it better to downgrade to ios16 or to upgrade to the new ios18 , please advise !
I don’t want to loose my data as it was not backed up before I update from ios16 to iOS17

I would try upgrading to IOS18, but first do a iCloud Backup. Make sure your iPhone is plugged into A/C and you have good Wi-Fi connection and give upgrade a try. You are not going to be able to go back to IOS16 if you don't have a backup to a computer either a Mac or Windows machine.
I've upgraded to IOS18 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The only issue I had if you can call it that was in Settings > Battery there was a Notice that iPhone is continuing Upgrading in the background. I left the iPhone on A/C charge overnight. This morning the notice was gone. No other issues.
