Why Did iOS 18 Change Control Center Layout?
I don't know why Apple managed to replace the cellular data toggle with the Airdrop toggle in Connectivity when accessing the control center (simply swiping down). Before iOS 18, Connectivity was just Wi-Fi, Cellular Data, Bluetooth, & Airplane Mode.
I use the Cellular Data toggle all the time while switching off the Wi-Fi toggle through the Connectivity tab with two simple taps whenever I'm outside, as it was easily accessible through there without having to go through "Settings" & "Wi-Fi," followed by "Cellular" to do it. Now? It's turn off the Wi-Fi toggle, then I have to tap on Connectivity, & then tap on Cellular Data just to access it. That's three taps over two.
There's no way of replacing the Airdrop toggle in general. I don't use Airdrop, & I don't have either a Mac or an iPad; I just only have the 3rd Generation Apple TV 4K as my other Apple device.
That's one of my biggest issues with the update. Does anyone else hate this problem?
