Mail not working on iPhone after iOS 18 Update

Of course I know there are other mail apps. And they work fine proving that the problem is IOS 18 mail. That mailer is still embedded in the os. So even changing the default email does not get rid of it.

drop back to iOS 17 mail and figure out why iOS 18 is acting so poorly

Folks should be very cautious in deciding whether or not to purchase the new iPhone 16e. iOS 18 was “not ready for Prime Time” right out the gate and likely the 16e won’t be either - Apple is using its very first, own cellular modem within it and is using the 16e as a sort of public test to see how it performs before deciding to use it in the more expensive phones… buyer be (a)ware for sure.

I haven't had a single issue with iOS 18. In fact, most people haven't. Yes, there are people who don't like some of the changes but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with the update. It just means Apple can't please everyone all the time.

There is definitively a documented and significant architectural change to iOS 18 Mail that has completely disabled it for many people. It is foolish to characterize a completely disabled mail account as a change that a few people don’t like.

I just tried downloading profile and installing it and still having issues. Was working fine until update.

AGAIN! Maybe the software people should go back to testing their software before making so many people’s computers useless, until they’re ready to fix it. No customer service here.

Millions of people have upgraded and not experienced this problem.

Apple should issue a new "upgrade" from IOS 18 to IOS 17.7

Any news when is it going to be fixed? My work email is not downloading on the phone. Should I change something? Up to the update everything worked fine….
