Can you recommend some drawing apps for beginners on iPad?
I keep seeing recommendations for Procreate, but I understand it's more for advanced users?

No one here can really say what will work best for you. I suggest you download a couple and try them out. Most of these apps have a free tier or a free trial.
Try Ibis Paint, it’s rlly good on iPads.
