I have my own apple id but was not the organizer of our family sharing and we are getting divorced. Do I lose all my purchases and music if I leave family sharing? I assume this affects EVERY device I use that is associated with my apple id.

If you leave Family Sharing you should keep all of your downloaded and locally stored content. DRM protected content from the other account may stop working.
