Family Sharing - Approval Needed for Spouse's App Purchases

I have Family Sharing on with my husband. I am the organiser and he is of course an adult. I like being able to share purchases with him but find it aggravating that I have to approve any purchase that he makes. If I’m not around, it limits what he is able to do and there shouldn’t be a hierarchical arrangement on our sharing unless I asked for it. The “ask to buy feature” should be applied to adults too so that we can explicitly accept or block payments from other members no matter their age.
