Esim not working

EID Missing on iPhone 12 Pro max

I got my new iPhone 12 Pro Max a little over one month today and went to get an eSIM. Then I was told by the cellular carrier that my device does not support eSIM.


They confirmed that my phone has only MEID. I also checked my Mobile Service in settings and didn’t find the “Add eSIM “ option.


Kindly assist cos I don’t know what to do

What the carrier told you is nonsense. Your iPhone absolutely support eSIM. I have an iPhone 12 and am using it with my carrier through an eSIM right now. Call your carrier back and speak with someone who knows what they're talking about.
