During yesterday‘s Apple announcement, it was said that you could get up to $1000 trade-in if you had an iPhone 12 Pro or newer.
On the Apple website today, it says the max is $650 for a trade-in.
I have a iPhone 14 Pro that is an excellent condition so I’m curious if the $1000 trade-in is true.
I have attached screenshots of the trade-ins discussed.

Expanding on what Tim said, read the fine print on the iPhone 16 product page. The $1000 credit possibility is valid with only with some of the special carrier financing deals. If you're going to be purchasing the iPhone 16 directly from Apple, then $650 is currently the maximum they apparently will offer.

How much you can get will depend on the exact model you have and whether you are purchasing directly from Apple or using a carrier financing plan (sold through Apple).
