FIXED! GARAGEBAND not working in SONOMA

I just updated to sonoma and was shocked to discover garageband would not open. All i got was an error message sating the program would not open. It wouldn't launch ...period... WHAT!!!!

I googled help and discovered many posts on the community boards all having the same issue. Re started my computer. garageband was up to date. etc. etc. no launching.

I was afraid i would have to try and migrate back to the old OS, or have to contact someone to fix it etc.

I fixed it by going into settings and into storage and deleted garageband. then i reinstalled it. it worked!
