Facetime freezes Imac then causes a reboot.

Facetime is freezing mac and causing reboot on most video calls. This happens whether other software is open or not. I close all other programs when I know Im going to have a video call, and this worked for a while, but the problem has resurfaced and caused two freezes and reboots within the space of 10 minutes.

Would be very open to any advice or suggestions.
