Notes app refuses to undo small deleted section

I deleted small section in my notes app on desktop accidentally. And I don’t know how to undo it.

i’ve tried command Z (control Z On my keyboard) but it comes up with error sound,

and I looked for the edit then undo button but there was no edit button.

Intel based mac version 12.7.5 in the middle of updating saying preparing updates 15 mins remaining

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.7
