Family Sharing request approval

I accidently created an adult account for my child. Now trying to update the date of birth and as he is part of Family sharing, request for approval is going to Family Organizer for approval, which is me. Apple support says

"To change your birth date to any age below 13*, you must be a member of a Family Sharing group, and your family organizer must approve the change"

But I can't see the request ,.. got an e-mail that I need to approve but not able to find the request.

Please help.
