Icelandic dictionary

How do I find an easy way to install Icelandic dictionary files espelling I noticed M UI interface has Icelandic but only keyboard VikingOSX explanation to Clausimausi not clear ,what is yourname/lirary/spelling

This will take you to another page that shows the index.aff, and index.dic files. Right/control-click on each of these to bring up a secondary menu, where you can select Download linked file as… . In that panel, change the index name for each file to is_IS_Icelandic, keeping the .dic and .aff extensions. Since the final destination for these files is in /Users/yourname/Library/Spelling, choose that as your download destination. You should have the following two files in that location when you are done:

is_IS_Icelandic.dic

is_IS_Icelandic.aff

You are done with these and they will now be additions to your System Preferences : Keyboard : Text : Spelling menu as Íslenska (Library). Set this Spelling menu to Automatic by Language to handle both languages. In Pages : Edit menu : Spelling and Grammar : Show Spelling and Grammar, it will also appear in that menu, and again, set this to Automatic By Language.

Finally, in System Preferences : Keyboard panel : Input Sources panel, add [+] the Icelandic keyboard, and select Show input menu in menu bar so you can switch between English and Icelandic keyboard entry in Pages.
