I am unable to make and receive FaceTime calls on my Mac

Hi, my Facetime on my Mac is having problem for some time now.

when I want to make a call it either freezes on “connecting” and then says “call failed” or it won’t make the call in the first place and it is like Face time has. hard time working. my Mac is up to date and I have this issue on different networks and to resolve this issue I have to restart my mac and then the issue is gone. this has made me to restart my Mac several time a day. It wasn’t right after an Update, but I have been having this issue for 2 month I guess, i have updated my Mac once since then and the issue is still causing problem and I didn’t change any setting on Face time. have this problem either making calls( Facetime) or receiving them and even when I want to transfer calls from my Iphone to my Mac.
