Enter passcode for other iPhone does not work

I am setting up my child’s phone (iPhone SE) and it works, except I am asked to enter the passcode for my “other iPhone” (mine) and it says that passcode is wrong. I double checked on my phone and the passcode is correct.

i don’t think the Apple ID is used on any other device but not even sure how to check that.

any help ??
