Home Pod Intermittent sound

My Homepod stereo pair has broken or intermittent sound when running through LG Smart TV but works fine on Apple TV. Airplay activated on TV but can’t get continued sound when not on Apple TV. I have to mix HomePod sound with TV sound to hear the audio. Does anybody have the same situation or remedies please. Thanks.
