Parental Controls & Screen Time are broken - is this on purpose?

I know how to set them up, I've done it before and it has worked for a few hours, maybe a day at most. Then for no reason they stop working. I can literally see my child clocking up time in TikTok when there's a 1 minute limit. It's the same with SnapChat. Downtime doesn't even work.

I've tried everything. Fully removing Screen Time on my iPad then setting it up again. iOS update.

NOTHING WORKS

You know, ensuring that a system like this should be a piece of cake for apple software engineers. And I can see from old posts all over the internet that this has been a problem FOR YEARS.

I can only conclude that Apple has done this on purpose as a way of ensuring that children become addicted to their mobile devices apps that trap their attention.
