Logic crashes when importing a file with Adapt Tempo

I've been regularly using this feature for a long time, as of late every time I try it crashes logic.

I select Adapt in the temp settings, drag a wav or mp3 file over and it starts 'analysing' but always crashes before it finishes. This is an essential feature for me and would really like some help in finding a fix for this!
