Screen time requests only going to certain devices other than the iPhone messages

I was having issues with my children's screen time requests going to all my other devices (iPad and MAC book) but my iPhone. I readily have my phone on me and not necessarily the other devices. I noticed in the message request off my MAC that if I hovered over my wife's name and did the dropdown that her email was showing. (She was having the same issue/occurrence with the requests as well) I went to all the devices Settings>Messages>Send & Receive...noticed all the devices receiving the requests had my email checked on it. In my iPhone, I checked the settings previously mentioned and the checked my email. I started to then receive the messages on my iPhone. My wife did the same on started to get texts on her iPhone as well. I hope this helps somebody.
