I originally purchased an iPhone SE 2nd generation and I put her age as 9 instead of 13. Now she is 13 and has not used the SE for months. She has replaced the original SE because sheen dropped it and her dad purchased another SE thru another vender.

I just received the broken phone and had it repaired. I need to reset this phone to factory reset without being able to get into it. It doesn't show in iTunes and have tried all ways to by pass the lock code 9which see doesn't remember.

So, my issue is to get her old phone unlocked to reset it and my iPhone to remove her from my account.

Hope I have explain it with charity. Help!

  1. If you do not know the passcode to the iPhone you will not be able to access it. You will need to restore it to regain access, but you will need to know the password for the Apple ID used to set it up to access it once it is restored.
    1. click here ➜ If you forgot your iPhone passcode, use your Mac or PC to reset it - Apple Support
  2. If you don't know the password for the Apple ID, then see the following link.
    1. click here ➜ If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
  3. If you created her own Apple ID, then its not tied to your account in any way. It may be part of the Family Sharing Group specially if the Apple ID is still set to an age under 13, but its not actually tied to your account in any way. You can move the Apple ID to another Family Sharing group if you need to by following the steps in the link below.
    1. click here ➜ Move a child to another group using Family Sharing - Apple Support
  4. Access to the old iPhone is not required to access the Apple ID, or to move her to a new Family Group.
