iTunes Library.itl does not appear valid

Hi

After a recent power outage, starting up my old mac (snow leopard), I got this message:

I couldn't locate mentioned renamed file (damaged)... my music files are kept on a partitioned external drive.

Two partitions, one for general mac backup, the other for music. The external drive appears to be working, however the music partition seems to have disappeared... & if the renamed file was placed where the original was, then it was likely also in the music partition.

Not sure how to get things back to normal... the external drive appears on the desktop, but not the music partition. I didn't see anything quite like this in previous posts.

Any thoughts on this?
