I've purchased a refurbished Iphone 12 and i'm trying to set it up, but everytime I enter my icloud ID and password, i get this same message.

I am connected to Wifi

All i get is the spinning sign. Just cant seem to get past this point. Wonder if its just a bad phone, or am i doing something wrong.

Ive tried setting it up using my ipad, but that didnt work either, scanning the image.

When you first powered on your refurbished iPhone 12, did it open to the Hello Page? If no, the phone wasn't prepared properly to be set up.

You can try the steps in the article, but if they don't work, I'd return the phone for refund --> If you can't activate your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) - Apple Support (CA)
