Apple Savings account is a no fee account, so it can remain open, at no cost to you, if you have plans or intentions of using it again in the relatively near future. Generally, after one to two years the bank will close the account permanently if it remains dormant (inactive) for that period of time.
Have you previously verified an account you own to transfer funds to? If not, your only option for immediate transfer of funds is to your Apple Cash account. Funds in Apple Cash account can be transferred instantly (within certain dollar limits) for a 1.75% fee or transferred for free to an account you own, in 1 to 3 business days. If transferred today, funds won’t start moving until tomorrow (Friday) and the earliest they would be received would be Monday, August 5.
