Every time I use Ken Burns and adjust its position, the application suddenly stops responding.
I use a MacBook Air M1 MacOS Sonoma 14.5 and Imovie 10.4.1
I've restarted the app and the mac too, but the result is the same. Please help.

Three fingers drag is not used with Ken Burns. Use one finger and press drag.

Hi,
Try deleting/resetting iMovie preferences. To delete preferences open iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new empty library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. Now see if your Ken Burns feature works properly. Possibly you may need to reboot to set the changes. Deleting preferences is a safe procedure that will not cause data loss or disruption to your project.

Close iMovie. Go to your Movies folder (Go/Home/movies), or wherever location you have your old library stored. Double click on the library that you want to open. iMovie will open in that library.

I've tried. ken burns seems to work, but can't use three-fingers-drag. Using hold-to-drag sometimes lags a bit. whereas, Using three-fingers-drag to move objects—such as moving media to the timeline— still works normally. Something wrong?
OK, I'll try it. and, how to restore old libraries?
For three finger drag, go to your Track Pad preferences/settings and confirm that the various three finger drag options are activated.

three-fingers-drag is set up and works fine for almost anything , but it doesn't work to resize Ken Burns
