HomePod minis and Atmos?!

So I know this has come up many times prior in threads about HomePod mini not being able to produce Atmos audio(despite the badge showing usually), however I am listening to a song in Music app now and the badge is present and since updating to iOS18 public beta the music sounds distinctively different and much more immersive. I’m playing from 2 minis not grouped together and one to the left and one to the right of me and only the left is in front of me the right is at the same axis as me. I could be going crazy lol that’s very probable but I swear it sounds totally different now
