Quicktime Video Not Playing

I am trying to watch a video on QuickTime, but it only shows the opening frame while the timer continues to move. I have tried restarting my computer in safe mode but that did not work either.

YouTube videos will not play-error message I am wondering if this indicates some problem with Quicktime. (MacBook Pro) Quicktime shows a change made on Jue 9, 2020 that I did not make.
