AppleID Locked and can’t access photos

Hi All,

my appleID was locked without being given a reason, spoke to apple support multiple times they said they can’t unlock it even if they wanted and can’t give me a reason so I was advised to make a new appleID.

ok I made a new Apple ID but I don’t want to lose all my photos as they were on the iCloud and the account is locked.

is there any way I can get my photos and transfer them to my Mac before I reset my phone to remove the lock on my Apple ID?

any advice appreciated

I'm afraid not, not if you cannot get into that account. Did you not keep a separate backup? I keep backups of all my photos on two archive hard drives kept in separate locations. iCloud is convenient for quick access but even Apple does not consider it to be an excuse for proper backups.

Legal - iCloud - Apple
