I want to have a ringtone that is my 2.5 minute composition but when I bring it in from garage band only the first 15-30 seconds are included in the ringtone and looped . I want to have my whole composition play, is there a way to do that? Help would be appreciated.

Considering the average length the carrier sets the ring duration is 30 seconds, what would be the point of a 2 1/2 minute ringtone?
And I doubt the person calling would wait 2 1/2 minutes for you to answer.
It is your cellular provider that determines how long the phone will ring. Contact them and they will give you the options. I have never heard of them allowing 2.5 minutes, but you will be able to change how many seconds it will ring.
Apple only allows ringtones to be a maximum of 40 seconds. So, no, you can't do that. And even if you could, you would run up against the length of time a carrier allows before the call gets set to voicemail. That can vary somewhat but it's a whole lot less than two and a half minutes.
