Google sponsored ads not opening

Whenever I do a Google search and I try to open any Google sponsored ad I get the “can’t open the page cause the server can’t be found” error. I’ve had it for about a year now and no matter if I search on my iPad or phone I always get the error when it’s a Google ad. Doesn’t matter if it’s on WiFi or mobile date it doesn’t work. I’ve already looked at previous posts and tried clearing website history and web browser extensions etc but still getting the same problem. My partner has the same issue on her phone too so it’s not a device issue
